Truck concert: when logistics becomes art
Last October, the FERCAM branch in Castellbisbal hosted a new edition of NYS Polígon Arts, the festival that brings industry and culture into dialogue by transforming urban, industrial and natural spaces through contemporary creative languages. A unique project in the European landscape, designed to strengthen the connection between companies and local communities and reinterpret the territory through art.

A concert inspired by the world of transport
Among the most distinctive moments of this edition, the audience experienced a truly original performance: the “Truck Concert”, a musical creation that transforms the sounds of industrial vehicles into an artistic composition. Engines, air brakes, acoustic signals and mechanical vibrations became part of an original score built from the soundscape of the transport sector, an evocative way to narrate logistics through a new language that blends technology, movement and creativity.
A space for memory and the stories of the community
Alongside the musical performance, the festival also featured a theatrical piece inspired by the book Dones: en passat i en present, which gathers the childhood and youth testimonies of twelve women from Castellbisbal during the Spanish Civil War and the post-war years. A collective narrative that brings dignity, memory and voice back to the social history of the community.
Institutional presence that reinforces the value of the initiative
The event was attended by Eva Menor, Councillor for Equality and Feminism of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and Maria Dolors Conde, Mayor of Castellbisbal, who emphasised the importance of initiatives capable of intertwining culture, industry and social engagement.
Hosting the festival within FERCAM’s premises confirms the company’s commitment to supporting the cultural development of the territory, opening the doors of logistics to new forms of expression and community participation.
Industry and community united through a universal language
NYS Polígon Arts continues to stand out as a virtuous example of cultural regeneration, where collaboration between public institutions, companies and citizens generates projects that reinterpret industrial landscapes as shared heritage.
For FERCAM, taking part in this initiative means recognising the value of culture as a bridge between expertise, innovation and community, an inclusive and meaningful way to narrate what happens within and around the world of logistics.
