Customer proximity and a strong network: FERCAM’s roadmap in Spain for 2025

A strategy built on customer proximity and a solid distribution network remains FERCAM’s hallmark in Spain. In a recent interview with Diario del Puerto, our Country Manager for Spain, Morocco, and France, Xavier Majem, outlined the priorities driving growth in the coming years.

Among the latest developments, the opening of new offices in Valencia and Zaragoza strengthens FERCAM’s local presence, ensuring even closer and more responsive service. This network is closely connected to strategic markets such as the Maghreb, India, and China, where FERCAM is expanding its operations to support customers’ international flows.

Majem also highlighted the importance of flexible logistics and a strong commitment to sustainability, which must always go hand in hand with economically viable solutions. In this regard, rail transport plays a strategic role, despite existing infrastructure challenges in Spain.

Looking ahead, FERCAM Spain aims to balance consolidation and international growth, facing market complexities with resilience, from driver shortages to the impact of geopolitical tensions on air and sea freight, and turning them into new opportunities for expansion.
