FERCAM expands its electric fleet in Bolzano

FERCAM continues its road transport decarbonization journey with the introduction of a new electric truck into the fleet of its Bolzano branch.
The delivery marks a further step in the progressive integration of zero-emission vehicles into FERCAM’s operational activities. The introduction of the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 reflects a structured approach based on real-world testing, data collection and gradual development, aligned with the concrete requirements of logistics operations.
The eActros 600 is a fully electric truck designed for long-haul transport, featuring a battery capacity of over 600 kWh and a range of up to 500 km. These characteristics allow FERCAM to assess the use of electric vehicles in a structured manner, even within complex operational scenarios.
Alongside fleet development, FERCAM is also investing in high-power charging infrastructure to ensure that electrification increasingly fits with logistics flows.
The expansion of the electric fleet is part of FERCAM’s Emission Free Project, the program guiding the progressive reduction of CO₂ emissions in road freight transport through reliable and scalable technological solutions.
In the coming months, data collected from the operation of electric vehicles will support evaluations of the next phases in fleet and infrastructure development.
