FERCAM expands its network in Southern Italy: official opening of the Campobasso branch

In his welcome address, Mauro Natale, President of Confindustria Molise, emphasized “how much the innovative companies operating in the area rely on efficient transport services to reach their target markets. The presence of FERCAM therefore represents a very important milestone for regional economic development.”

A strategic expansion along the Adriatic corridor

With the recent openings in Bari and Campobasso, FERCAM is strengthening its network along the Adriatic corridor, in line with a targeted growth strategy aimed at ensuring greater proximity to customers while offering timely, effective, and locally responsive logistics solutions.

“Both branches will focus on full truckload (FTL) and partial load (LTL and STL) transport activities, with a special focus on Transport Italy and Freight Management services,” explains Davide Aonso, Director of the Transport Italy & Special Services Division at FERCAM. “Operations are supported by a fleet of 220 company-owned loading units, confirming our commitment to providing reliable, tailor-made transport solutions for every customer need.”

Campobasso: synergy and expertise serving the local area

The new Campobasso branch will be managed by two former entrepreneurs who have been long-time collaborators of FERCAM and now serve respectively as Branch Manager and Department Manager. The branch will serve not only the Molise region but also Abruzzo, an area with a strong concentration of companies in the automotive and agri-food sectors.

Bari: a strategic hub for Southern Italy

The Bari branch, led by a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the sector, manages full and partial road transport operations (FTL, LTL Road), as well as exceptional transport services (XTL).
The branch also provides support services to companies for the direct delivery of materials and essential components required for the operation of machinery and equipment.

These services are carried out both nationally and internationally by road and fall within the scope of the Special Cargo Road sector, also used by the A&O division for similar services in air and sea freight.
