FERCAM Serbia leads the way with the country’s first electric truck
A step forward in our journey toward zero-emission transport in the Balkans
FERCAM Serbia has added a new fully electric truck into its fleet, the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600. It’s the very first operating in the country. This milestone represents not only an internal evolution, but also a tangible step toward the development of sustainable logistics in Serbia and across the wider region.
What this means for our customers
By deploying the eActros 600 on selected long-haul routes, we can significantly reduce CO₂ output, helping our customers meet their climate targets and reporting obligations.
Partnering with a logistics provider committed to low-impact transport can strengthen your sustainability credentials and support your broader ESG strategy.
The all-electric drivetrain allows for low-noise operations, making the eActros ideal for night-time or urban deliveries where noise reduction is a priority.
The eActros is one piece of our Emission Free Project, a roadmap that includes alternative fuels like Bio-LNG and HVO and green infrastructure across our network.

The Mercedes-Benz eActros 600
The eActros 600 is a next-generation, fully electric truck designed for long-haul transport. With a range of up to 500 km on a single charge and fast-charging capabilities, it brings electric mobility into international logistics operations. Its efficient design, regenerative braking system, and advanced safety features make it a practical solution for launching zero emission transport operations, even in a developing infrastructure context such as Serbia.

The road ahead
The introduction of this first electric truck into FERCAM Serbia’s fleet has been made possible in collaboration with a long-standing customer, with whom we had already implemented low-emission transport solutions using HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil).
Electrifying heavy-duty transport in Serbia represents both a challenge and a significant opportunity. FERCAM continues to invest in innovative solutions with a pragmatic approach: we test, measure, and scale only what delivers high operational performance, reliability, and tangible value for our customers.
