Logistics and transport for the construction industry: FERCAM at B-CAD 2025

[Rome, 23 September 2025] FERCAM was among the key players at the 2025 edition of B-CAD – the international fair for construction, architecture, and design – both as the official freight forwarder and with a dedicated exhibition space showcasing its high value-added logistics solutions.

Not only exhibitors and design studios: at B-CAD Rome 2025, the international trade fair dedicated to construction, architecture, and design, logistics also played a central role.
FERCAM was once again confirmed as the official freight forwarder of the event, ensuring the transport and handling of booth materials and exhibition supplies at the “La Nuvola” Convention Center.
“Being once again among the official freight forwarders of B-CAD 2025 is a recognition that goes beyond the operational service itself,” commented Francesco Coccia, Department Manager Fairs and Events at FERCAM. “Our work as logistics experts for trade fairs means ensuring that every exhibition can take shape within the planned timeframe and according to requirements, coordinating transport, customs procedures, and complex handling. It’s an activity that demands precision, flexibility, and a deep understanding of industry dynamics, because behind every booth there is always an invisible logistics system that makes its realization possible.”

In addition to its role as on-site agent for the event’s logistics, FERCAM also participated with its own booth, presenting in particular the services of its Special Services division, offering highly specialized solutions for trade fair logistics, relocations, and fine art, as well as its Transport division, dedicated to national and international road and multimodal transport. Together with Air & Ocean and Logistics solutions, this comprehensive offer meets the needs of companies in the sector, who must manage complex projects ranging from the supply of building materials to the handling of exhibition setups and architectural prototypes, and beyond.

The presence of a specialized operator such as FERCAM highlighted the crucial importance of logistics in the construction and architectural sector, where the management of flows – from building materials to machinery, from furnishings to fragile, valuable, or oversized items – requires an integrated approach and advanced technical solutions.
“In a sector such as construction and design, logistics is not an accessory element, but a strategic component: it requires planning skills, speed of intervention, and tailor-made solutions for materials that are often bulky, fragile, or of high value,” noted Davide Aonso, Division Director Transport Italy & Special Services.

In an increasingly global industry, FERCAM’s participation in B-CAD underlined the role of logistics infrastructures as an enabling factor for innovation and competitiveness of companies, emphasizing the connection between goods mobility and the development of the construction and architectural sectors.
