At the GAM in Turin, a season comes to a close: FERCAM Fine Art coordinates the simultaneous deinstallation of three exhibitions

Five months of exhibitions, dozens of artworks from across Europe, and artists directly involved. Now the focus shifts behind the scenes: packing, return logistics, and transport. A complex logistical operation that FERCAM Fine Art has managed from start to finish.

On April 12, three major exhibitions came to an end, having enriched the autumn season of the GAM, Gallery of Modern Art in Turin since October 29, 2025. FERCAM Fine Art handled the entire logistics process: from the initial setup, coordinated within the same timeframe for all three exhibitions, to the deinstallation phase.

The first two exhibitions, dedicated to living artists from the Italian and international contemporary art scene, Anger Pleasure Fear by Linda Fregni Nagler and Frangibile by Elisabetta Di Maggio, were monographic shows. Both artists’ studios were directly involved during installation and dismantling, requiring close coordination between the logistics team and the artists, with particular attention to specific instructions regarding handling and positioning of the artworks.

The third exhibition, Notti. Five centuries of stars, dreams, full moons, differed significantly in nature and complexity. It featured works spanning from the 16th to the 20th century and involved a wide network of lenders, museums, and private collections across Europe. For this exhibition, FERCAM Fine Art managed the loan logistics, including coordination of couriers accompanying the artworks both inbound and outbound, ensuring full compliance with museum standards and regulations.

The simultaneous deinstallation of the three exhibitions engaged FERCAM Fine Art across all phases, from packing to final return. Each artwork was delivered back to its respective lender, following agreed transport procedures and ensuring full traceability of every movement through to final destination.
