FERCAM: 2025 Results Show Growth Despite Complex Global Environment
[Bolzano, 5 May 2026] The 2025 financial year confirmed the solidity and growth capacity of South Tyrolean logistics operator FERCAM in a challenging global economic environment. The group closed the year with revenues of €725 million, up 3.28%, accompanied by improved operating results and volume growth.

The Year in Brief
In 2025, FERCAM recorded positive development across all major business areas, demonstrating resilience and dynamism. The increase in volumes and improved performance compared to 2024 highlight the effectiveness of the strategies adopted, even against a difficult international backdrop. "The results achieved in 2025 demonstrate the solidity of our operating model and our ability to adapt quickly to market changes," says CEO Hannes Baumgartner. "We continued to grow while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency, service quality and sustainable development." Revenues remained solid, supported by efficient management and continuous process optimisation. This performance confirms the company's ability to generate value and strengthen its competitive position in the international logistics market.
Operating Performance and Divisional Development
The various divisions contributed significantly to the group's overall growth. The Air & Sea division expanded its international presence, strengthening connections with the Far East and seizing new opportunities in intercontinental traffic. The maritime segment, however, operated in a particularly complex environment: the Red Sea security crisis continued to negatively impact traffic through the Suez Canal, with a significant reduction in transits and a persistent rerouting of vessels via the Cape of Good Hope. This situation led to longer transit times, reduced available capacity and higher operating costs along the main Asia–Europe routes. Despite this, FERCAM managed to ensure service continuity and reliability, flexibly adapting its logistics solutions. "The maritime transport environment in 2025 demanded great flexibility," Hannes Baumgartner continues. "The difficulties related to the Suez Canal and alternative routes increased operational complexity, but we were able to respond swiftly, ensuring our customers reliable and efficient solutions." The Logistics division delivered excellent performance, exceeding budget targets and standing out for its high profitability. The Transport division confirmed its central role, benefiting from volume growth and targeted rate adjustments. Special Services activities continued to generate value, contributing to the diversification of the offering and the strengthening of the group's market positioning. "The improvement in our performance is the direct result of the commitment of our people and careful process management," adds Hannes Baumgartner. "We have been able to turn challenges into growth opportunities."
Structural Strengthening and Territorial Expansion During 2025, FERCAM further consolidated its presence across the territory, opening new operational sites in Bari and Campobasso and expanding its logistics network. The integration of Shado Forwarding Srl, successfully completed, broadened the group's expertise in international freight forwarding and port logistics, helping to strengthen its positioning in global traffic flows.
Innovation and Sustainability
FERCAM continued its innovation and sustainability journey with determination, accelerating the adoption of low-emission transport solutions and investing in electric vehicles and alternative fuels. The instaFERCAM digital platform, based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, further improved operational efficiency and the customer experience. "Sustainability and digitalisation are fundamental pillars of our strategy," emphasises Hannes Baumgartner. "We continuously invest in innovation to offer our customers ever more efficient and responsible solutions."
Outlook
For 2026, FERCAM looks to the future with confidence. Despite an environment that remains dynamic, the group is well positioned to seize new growth opportunities thanks to a solid structure, targeted investments and a strong commitment to innovation and service quality.
"We enter 2026 with a clear vision and a solid foundation," concludes Hannes Baumgartner. "In an environment that remains complex, we will continue to focus on efficiency, flexibility and sustainability to further strengthen our competitiveness. Our goal is to grow responsibly, creating long-term value for customers, partners and the communities in which we operate."
