Xavier Majem awarded by SIL 2023 for his dedication to the logistics sector
Xavier Majem, Country Manager of FERCAM for Spain, Morocco, and France, has been recognized by the International Logistics Exhibition of Barcelona (SIL) 2023, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, for his dedication to the logistics sector. The award was presented to him during the event "La Nit de la Logística," held at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya (TNC) on June 7th.
The gala was presided over by His Majesty King Felipe VI, who awarded recognition to professionals in the sector who have decisively contributed to making SIL the leading fair in logistics, transportation, intralogistics, and supply chain in southern Europe during these twenty-five years. Currently, it is one of the most important logistics fairs worldwide and a reference in Spain, the Mediterranean, and Latin America.
With nearly 800 attendees from the industry, the event was also attended by the Minister of Transport, Mobility, and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, the Government Delegate in Catalonia, Carlos Prieto, the president of SIL and special delegate of the State in the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), Pere Navarro, and the general director of CZFB and SIL, Blanca Sorigué, among other personalities.
"La Nit de la Logística" was a prelude to SIL Barcelona 2023, which welcomed more than 15,000 professionals from 91 countries and had the participation of around 650 companies, with 40% of them being international. FERCAM was present, once again, with a stand where it showcased its services and innovations, particularly in the field of sustainability.
The awards were a well-deserved recognition of the work of 43 companies in the logistics sector, which have made valuable contributions in various aspects related to the activity.
At FERCAM, we are proud of this award, which acknowledges Xavier's trajectory, dedication, and involvement in the sector and the event year after year. Congratulations!
