FERCAM Fine Art for Jago

Fine Art for Jago, contemporary sculptor of international acclaim

FERCAM Fine Art is proud to support the artistic journey of Jago, one of today’s most compelling voices in contemporary sculpture.
Through an exclusive partnership agreement, our team has been entrusted with the specialist transport and logistics of his artworks, ensuring safe delivery to exhibitions in Italy and around the world. Jago has chosen to rely on FERCAM not only for our technical expertise in art logistics, but also for our ability to offer consulting support on insurance coverage, institutional coordination with museums and venues, and tailored logistics strategies for the handling of complex, delicate works.

«It is a truly prestigious collaboration», says Chiara Prisco, Head of the Fine Art Business Unit at FERCAM. «What we’ve built with Jago goes beyond the typical logistics project. We’re working with an artist who combines sculptural mastery with entrepreneurial vision and a deep social consciousness. In our profession, it's rare to collaborate directly with the author of the artworks we transport – to contribute to the design of exhibition spaces, advise on handling protocols, and share in the process from studio to museum».

A logistics partnership sculpted over time

Since 2021, FERCAM Fine Art has supported Jago on a number of significant transports, including the “Pietà” and “Figlio Velato”, managing complex handling operations in historical and sacred locations and overcoming technical challenges with discretion, precision, and planning.

A notable early project: the transport of “Pietà”

In late 2020, our team visited Jago’s atelier in Naples to prepare the transport of his then-new work Pietà - it was the beginning of a shared journey that is still ongoing. Carved from marble with striking anatomical precision, the sculpture subverts the traditional iconography by portraying a man holding a lifeless young woman. Powerful and emotionally raw, the piece required delicate handling and protection during its move from the Church of Sant’Aspreno to the exhibition venue in Rome. Jago selected FERCAM Fine Art for this critical phase, entrusting us with every aspect of the artwork’s safety.

Palazzo Bonaparte: a monumental challenge in the heart of Rome

For Jago. The Exhibition at Palazzo Bonaparte, FERCAM Fine Art managed the entire transport and staging operation, including the spectacular introduction of large-scale sculptures through second-floor windows using a mobile crane. Among the works, Venere posed the greatest logistical challenge due to its height and weight. Each step was calculated with millimetric precision to navigate the historical building’s constraints. The exhibition marked another high-profile milestone in the collaboration between Jago and FERCAM, combining technical excellence with curatorial sensitivity in one of Rome’s most iconic venues.

International prestige: from Naples to Expo 2025 Osaka

The partnership reached a new milestone in 2025 with the transport of Apparato circolatorio, Jago’s monumental sculpture selected for the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka. The journey began at the Jago Museum in Naples and culminated in Japan, with FERCAM Fine Art managing the full operation: technical planning, fine art handling, packaging, international transport, and customs coordination.
The crate for the operation was produced by Echo Labs, the social carpentry workshop of the FERCAM Group, as part of the REcrate project – a circular economy initiative promoting sustainable, reusable packaging built by refugees and asylum seekers. The operation exemplifies how high-level fine art logistics can align with ESG values without compromise.

A shared vision of excellence and impact

What unites FERCAM Fine Art and Jago is not only a dedication to craft and precision, but a shared understanding of art as a cultural and civic act, capable of generating dialogue, emotion, and awareness. With each transport, our role expands beyond logistics – we become enablers of a broader journey: one that moves not only artworks, but the stories, values, and questions they embody.
